Sophie's adventures continue... And she just seems to be getting more and more delusional. I'm curious what my students will think of this, if they'll think she thinks like them and enjoy it or if they'll think it's as ridiculous as I think it is.

The most ridiculous: the only tissues in a 3rd grade classroom are inside a drawer in the teacher's desk. In my real-life 3rd grade classroom, we have two boxes of tissues out on separate sides of the classroom and end up having to replace them each at least once a day. There's no way that this teacher would have made it through even five minutes of being a teacher without realizing she needed to provide easier access to tissues...

I'll still put this out for my students to read, as I am well aware that my classroom library is heavily weighted toward more difficult books. But I'll not recommend it to them as quality literature.
