The Book High
I've always said I'll read anything, and I really do mean that. Lately M/M romance has had my interest, but fantasy and sci-fi were my first loves and will always hold a special place in my heart. I also love histories and biographies.
So, so good! The writing was fantastic. The characters were perfect: understandable and sympathetic while still managing to seem like real people. The story was brilliant with the research into the local myth. The development of the relationship was beautifully paced.My one complaint is that it ended! I wanted to find out more about the myth of the statue, I wanted to see where the relationship went. I wasn't nearly ready to be done with the story when the story was over.
Of all the LHNB stories I've read so far, this is the one I'm desperately hoping will get turned into a longer work or possibly have a sequel written.
